9th Avenue North on the Oceanfront Boardwalk
EVERY SATURDAY from November 24th, 2012 to January 1st, 2013
Location: On the Boardwalk between 9th Avenue North and Plyler Park @ Mr. Joe White Ave.
The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk will twinkle over the winter holiday with an array of lights and music to brighten up your season. The festivities will begin on November 24th 2012 at 2:00 P.M. when Santa Claus arrives on his Harley Davidson. At 7:00 P.M. we will flip the switch, turning on over twenty thousand lights dancing to the holiday music, along with thousands of lights decorating the downtown businesses. This is a show you will not want to miss.
Come and sing along with Elvis while he delights us with his performance of “Blue Christmas”, take a ride on the Polar Express Train along the oceanfront and do not miss the free outdoor movie night on the Big Screen. Shop at the Arts and Crafts show, you may find the perfect gift for that special someone and join Santa during his adventures on the Boardwalk. Of course we cannot have a night of celebration without cookies and hot chocolate, so yes we will have them and it is on us! And That’s Not All… On December 22nd, we will crown the winner of the 'Ugly Holiday Sweater Competition'. Wear that Christmas sweater you have never worn, and you may be the winner. So cozy up and come to the beautiful Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, create special holiday memories with family and friends.
